PUHE-515 : Public Health Capstone Independent Study (Elective)
The independent study course requires departmental approval to enroll. Public health students can conduct individual or group projects that focus on public health research or community outreach topic. Students are required to work with a faculty preceptor or public health agency, and all work is conducted under their supervision and evaluation. After completing the course, students should be able to demonstrate a command of public health knowledge and scientific principles of the topic area of interest and demonstrate an ability to apply for graduate-level work in an area of specific professional and personal interest.
